We’ve poured our heart and soul into our new project, Gaia Botanica. Born out of a passion for natural medicine, love of ritual, and care for the planet. Each unique Gaia Botanica product is handcrafted in South Australia using the highest quality, ethically sourced, certified organic ingredients.
We currently have two curated collections of loose leaf teas; our Wellness blends, which have been naturopathically formulated, and our Classic breakfast teas.
We have developed our range to become a part of your lifestyle, inspiring you to savour the quiet moments, nourish your health and practice self-care.

The founders
Gaia Botanica was founded in South Australia in 2021 by clinical naturopath Lily Zurlino and clinical nutritionist Anushka Malcolm. Gaia Botanica combines their love for natural medicine, their passion for daily rituals and their desire to run a sustainable business with minimal environmental impact.
After years of working with aromatic spices, organic teas and therapeutic herbs — both as a hobby and, in Lily’s case, clinical practice — Lily and Anushka decided to launch Gaia Botanica, initially as a tea range to complement their clinic, Bare Health Studio.
High-quality products are important to us; we’ve created them to taste incredible and make you feel good.
Plus, they’ll look fabulous sitting on your shelf. At Gaia Botanica we value health, our community and the environment. Throughout our production process we avoid practices that do not align with our values.
Organic
At Gaia Botanica we choose to use high quality certified organic ingredients in our products. We believe that organic ingredients taste better. They are also better for your wellbeing, better for the planet and better for the communities involved in producing the crops. We choose to support the environment by ensuring our ingredients have been grown in organic farms.
Ethical
At Gaia Botanica we believe that trading fairly, with integrity, and doing right by the farmers and producers involved in growing the botanicals we source is of the utmost importance. We ethically source all our ingredients from skilled tea and herb producers. Each tea is hand-blended in South Australia by artisan tea makers.
Responsible
We love planet Earth, our home. We desire to take care of it and live harmoniously. By improving the way in which we conduct ourselves in our business, we believe we can have a positive impact. It is our responsibility to reduce our negative impact on the environment which we action through a number of operational choices we make day-to-day. We are always evolving and reevaluating our footprint on the planet.
Gaia Botanica gives back!
At Gaia Botanica, we are dedicated to donating 1% of our online store sales to Bio·R. Bio·R is a grassroots charity that generates funds, knowledge and practical skills to reconstruct habitats to support native wildlife in degraded landscapes. Bio·R's key projects are located in the Mount Lofty and Kangaroo Island region where they focus on reconstructing quality habitat for declining species.
